Olena Kalynovska is a resident of the city of Lyman in Donetsk region who, like thousands of other Ukrainians, was forced to leave her home and job because of the war. After relocating to Kyiv, she didn’t face her challenges alone — she turned to the employment service for job search assistance.
Olena holds a higher education degree in “Accounting and Auditing” and has experience working as an accountant. She was looking for a job that would be both engaging and aligned with her professional skills. Together with her career advisor, she explored various options — both in Kyiv and in other regions.
During this time, she attended employment service trainings and webinars, received personalized consultations, and completed a professional development program called “Development of Socio-Psychological Adaptability in Conditions of Dynamic Change” at the Poltava Vocational Training Center of the State Employment Service.
Specialists supported her every step of the way — from resume writing and interview preparation to job matching and training. Thanks to this coordinated effort, Olena was able to find a position that fully met her professional aspirations and goals.
Today, she works as the Head of the Tax Reporting Department at JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in Kyiv and is confidently continuing her career path.
