Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists have managed to get to a number of damaged power lines and repair the damage. As a result, electricity has been restored to 12 settlements. More than 27,000 homes in Donetsk Oblast have electricity again. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power in the region as soon as it becomes possible and the military gives permission to work.
Yesterday and the day before yesterday, power engineers continued to work to restore electricity to Donetsk Oblast residents. Over this period, we have managed to restore power to 12 settlements and bring electricity back to the homes of 27,169 local families.
The situation in Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. According to the head of Donetsk Oblast Vadim Filashkin, Russians shelled Donetsk Oblast's settlements 36 times over the last day.
Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists continue to restore power as soon as the situation and the military allow. Power engineers will restore electricity to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
