This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
The film tells the story of five Ukrainian service members who, after suffering severe injuries, set a new goal for themselves: to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro. The motion picture highlights recovery after war, human strength, and the importance of giving veterans the opportunity to return to active life without pity or condescension.
"I thank the Youth Congress of Donetsk Oblast for this initiative. It is especially valuable that young people are bringing forward such topics for public discussion, helping to shape an attitude toward veterans based on respect for their experience and strength.
'Second Wind' reminds us of a simple truth: after the most difficult trials, life does not end. It can begin anew—with new goals, new peaks, and new confidence in one's own strength," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
