The volunteer movement has become hugely important today. Caring Ukrainians and foreign partners are supporting the military and civilians. They are responding to every need.
Over the past week, thanks to the joint efforts of the regional state administration, volunteers, and charitable organizations, nearly 179 tons of charitable cargo were delivered and distributed to residents of Donetsk region who have suffered from the effects of hostilities.
This aid has become vital for people who find themselves in dire straits due to military aggression. The cargo included food sets, hygiene products, building materials, medicines, non-food items, bottled drinking water, New Year's gifts for children, and other necessary aid.
First and foremost, assistance was provided to pensioners, large families, families with children, and other categories of the population in need of support.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration expresses its sincere gratitude to all charitable organizations and volunteers who work selflessly, risking their lives to deliver aid to the most remote corners of Donetsk region.
