From August 11 to 17, with permission from the military, specialists of DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to repair a number of network damages and restore electricity to residents of 85 settlements. More than 103,000 families once again have access to power supply. Energy workers are making every possible effort to restore electricity in the frontline region as soon as circumstances allow.
Despite heavy fighting in the region and ongoing shelling, over the past week DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to fully or partially restore power for residents of 85 settlements. In total, 103,325 households in Donetsk region now have access to electricity again.
In particular, just over the weekend, energy workers managed to restore electricity to 27,000 homes across 10 settlements.
Donetsk region remains the arena of the most intense hostilities. Damage to energy infrastructure continues due to constant shelling. Energy workers will definitely return power to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out the work.
