Despite the worsening security situation, the population of Donetsk region receives charitable aid every week.
Last week, almost 195 tons of charitable aid were distributed, including food packages, hygiene products, building materials, non-food items, medical supplies, fuel pellets, etc. First and foremost, assistance was provided to pensioners, large families, families with young children, and other vulnerable groups.
The most significant assistance is provided by the following charitable and public organizations: GLOBAL EMPOWERMENT MISSION UA (GEM), Angels of Salvation, a separate division of VIS, and the religious organization Religious Administration of Monasteries of the Salesian Congregation of the Eastern Rite in Ukraine of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, World Central Kitchen, ADRA Ukraine, Ordinary People, Donetsk Regional Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, International Medical Corps, and many others.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration expresses its sincere gratitude to all charitable organizations and volunteers who work selflessly, risking their lives to deliver aid to the most remote corners of our region.
