Oleksandr Voronov was killed on September 24, 2025, in Kostiantynivka. That day, the Russian army struck the city twice with guided aerial bombs (KABs). Oleksandr was driving his car along Shmidta Street when the second KAB hit; its fragments struck him.
Oleksandr was 42 years old. He was born in Kostiantynivka. He graduated from Secondary School No. 17 and later from Vocational School No. 113 (Kostiantynivka Higher Vocational School), where he trained as an auto mechanic. He worked in his profession for many years, and in 2021 he became a driver at the municipal utility company “Komuntrans.”
Oleksandr was passionate about cars and loved fishing.
“Dad was very responsible, caring, and kind; he always helped people in difficult moments. During the fighting, he helped people evacuate, transporting residents and their belongings… He was a loving husband and the best father. It is very hard for us without him. We miss him terribly. We grieve endlessly,” his daughter Anastasiia wrote.
Oleksandr was buried in the city of Druzhkivka.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.
