The Donetsk region remains one of the regions most heavily contaminated with explosive ordnance. After each enemy shelling, ammunition may remain on the ground, posing a deadly danger to people.
Last week, bomb disposal experts from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region surveyed 8.45 hectares of territory. During their operations, they detected and destroyed 21 explosive devices.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
The work of bomb disposal experts involves daily risk, a high level of responsibility, and painstaking effort to ensure people’s safety.
If you notice a suspicious object, under no circumstances should you approach it, touch it, or attempt to move it yourself. Move to a safe distance and immediately call 101 or 102.
