The life of power plant employee Kostiantyn Husak was cut short by an enemy shelling of the town of Mykolaivka in Donetsk region.
Throughout the day on June 20, 2024, the Russian army attacked the settlement several times. At the moment of the strike, Kostiantyn was on the territory of the enterprise. Two other people were injured in the same attack.
“As a result of the shelling, Kostiantyn sustained severe injuries. He was promptly evacuated to the hospital. However, despite the provided medical assistance, his life could not be saved…” — reported the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Kostiantyn Oleksandrovych was 36 years old. He was born in Mykolaivka, studied at School No. 1, and worked at the local power plant as a main equipment operator of the boiler and turbine shop.
Kostiantyn is survived by his parents and older brother.
