Helicopter Commander Pavlo Borduhov was killed during a combat mission on July 2, 2022, near the village of Novomaryanivka in the Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovsk region. He was 28 years old forever.
Pavlo was born in Sloviansk but lived for a long time in Kherson. He served as part of Ukraine’s peacekeeping contingent under the UN mandate.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, Pavlo evacuated his parents and fiancée to Oleksandriia and returned to the front himself. He carried out combat missions on the line of contact.
During his service, Captain Pavlo Borduhov was awarded the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”, and posthumously — the Order “For Courage,” 3rd class.
The defender was laid to rest in the Oleksandriia community.
Waiting for him at home were his parents and his fiancée.
