On July 12, 2025, a training session for youth was held in Dnipro, organized by the Dnipro Youth Center. Young people from the Donetsk region, including those from the Volnovakha district and the Kurakhiv community, also participated in the event. Representatives from the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National-Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration also attended the event.
During the training, participants had the opportunity not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to practice key skills at several interactive locations. The youth learned to operate drones, mastering launching, controlling, and navigation.
Special attention was paid to firearms training, which included safe handling of weapons and accuracy training. An important element of the training was tactical medicine, where participants simulated critical situations, practiced evacuation skills, and provided first aid. In addition, the youth gained knowledge and skills in counter-drone warfare, learning to detect, neutralize, or avoid threats from the sky.
Military-patriotic trainings are much more than just a set of training sessions. They are an important stage in developing the skills and readiness of youth to act in the face of modern challenges. They contribute to strengthening the capacity of the civilian population to effectively respond to the threats facing Ukrainian society and enhance their role in national resistance.
