Published 14 October 2026 year, 09:55

Nikita Kravtsov, a 25-year-old soldier, was killed on April 7, 2022, in the village of Studenok in the Kharkiv region. He was killed by a landmine while on a combat mission.

Mykita was born on July 16, 1996, in the city of Sloviansk. He attended School No. 5 and a teacher-training lyceum. He later graduated from Donbas State Pedagogical University, where he earned a master’s degree in psychology.

In August 2017, he enlisted to defend his homeland and signed a contract with the 18th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served in the “Donbas” Special Forces Battalion. From 2018 to 2020, he participated in the Joint Forces Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Nikita studied part-time at the E. O. Didorenko Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs, from which he graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in law. He worked at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

He was a multi-talented person: he boxed, wrote poetry, and rapped. He performed under the stage name Nick Angel.

On February 24, 2022, when the full-scale invasion began, he told his parents: “Mom, Dad, I’m sorry, but I can’t do anything else. All my brothers-in-arms are there.” He voluntarily reported to the military registration and enlistment office and, within three days, rejoined the ranks of the “Donbas” Special Forces Battalion, where he had previously served.

Mykita Kravtsov was buried in the town of Vyshneve in the Kyiv region.

He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage,” Third Class.

At 9:00 a.m.—a nationwide minute of silence. The Donetsk Regional State Administration and the “Memorial to Heroes” platform are honoring the fallen defenders from the Donetsk region.
