Senior Soldier Ihor Tsyvkovskyi was killed on April 8, 2024, in a battle near the village of Andriivka. He sustained fatal injuries when the enemy attacked the position with drone-dropped grenades. He was 31 years old.
Ihor was born in the settlement of Bylbasivka. He studied at Sloviansk Boarding School No. 1. After completing his secondary education, he worked as a builder.
He was mobilized in September 2023 and carried out combat missions as part of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar", serving as a grenadier in an assault unit.
“Ihor was a very kind person. He always helped others and never left anyone alone with their problems. Whenever he had the chance, during his leave, he came to visit us. The last time, he brought a big chocolate bar — I still keep it,” recalled his sister-in-law, Yuliia Kovalova.
For his bravery, Ihor Tsyvkovskyi was awarded the distinction of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine — the “Iron Cross.”
He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Bylbasivka.
