Sagittarius Cyril Babkin was killed during a combat mission on January 22, 2023 as a result of mortar shelling near the village of Kuzmin, Luhansk region. Defender forever 31 years.
Cyril was born in Slavyansk. He graduated from the Gold Medal School No. 5, and he received his higher education at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. He worked for a private company in a sales manager. He loved to play music, played guitar.
After the start of a full -scale invasion, he volunteered to the National Guard. He defended his homeland as part of the 18th Separate Slavic Brigade of NSU as Sagittarius. He had the title of soldier.
For his personal courage and dedication in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people by decree of the President of Ukraine, Cyril was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of III degree.
They buried the defender in the North Cemetery in Slavyansk.
Cyril has parents left.
