Published 21 October 2026 year, 09:00

Yuriy Tuzhlov was 67 years old. He was born on October 7, 1958, in the city of Sloviansk. He attended Secondary School No. 2. He served in the Navy for three years. He worked as an electrician at a feed mill and was highly skilled in his field. Later, he worked at the central market and ran his own business. In recent years, he had been retired.

A caring, hardworking, and very intelligent person—that is how Yuriy’s family and friends remember him. He was an expert in electronics. He loved doing home improvement projects and renovated his house himself.

Yuriy Tuzhlov’s life was taken by a Russian airstrike on Sloviansk on the morning of July 11, 2026. That day, the enemy dropped three bombs on the central part of the city. One hit Yuriy’s house.

The day before the tragedy, he had returned from Kharkiv, where he had undergone a complex surgery.

Yuriy Tuzhlov was buried at the Northern Cemetery in Sloviansk. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

At 9:00 a.m.—a nationwide minute of silence. The Donetsk Regional Military Administration and the Memorial platform: those killed by Russia commemorate the residents of the Donetsk region killed by Russians.
