Serviceman Oleksandr Teslenko was killed on March 24, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near Marinka.
Oleksandr was born and lived his entire life in the city of Kramatorsk. For many years he saved lives while working for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend his native Donetsk region.
“Above all, he believed that the most important thing was to protect and save people in his native Ukraine. That is why, when the enemy launched a massive attack on the borders of the state, Oleksandr was among the first to stand up in defense of his homeland. Friends from all over the world remember him as a brave and honorable person, with a big heart and strong character. This is a loss for an entire nation… The pride of his mother and father, the best brother and a loyal friend. This is him — this is about him! Not a single tear shed by his parents and loved ones is in vain for him!” wrote volunteer Oleksii Yukov.
“A bright and kind person! There are not many like him! Thank you for our lives. Eternal memory,” wrote Maria, a friend of the fallen defender.
At 9:00 a.m. — a nationwide moment of silence.
