Senior Private Denys Rudenko, call sign Panda, was killed on September 29, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Andriivka in the Bakhmut district. He was 34 years old.
Denys was born in the village of Krynytsia in the Kramatorsk district. He graduated from the Oleksandrivka Professional Agricultural Lyceum. He worked at a coal mining enterprise. He led a quiet and peaceful life. He dreamed of family comfort and peace for his country.
During the full-scale Russian invasion, he fought for his homeland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Cossack Ataman Ivan Sirko. Together with his comrades, he defended the eastern sector of the front.
“Denis was a modest and courageous man, a reliable comrade, and a loyal friend. He really wanted to start a family of his own,” his loved ones noted.
The soldier was buried in his native village, next to his brother and father.
Denis is survived by his mother, friends, and comrades.
