A workshop for National-Level Youth Councils 2.0 was held in Lviv, bringing together representatives of 13 consultative and advisory bodies attached to central executive authorities.

Oleksandr Levchenko, deputy chair of the Youth Council at the Myrnohrad City Council and the Youth Council at the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in the event. Together with representatives of the Youth Council under the Ministry of Community, Territorial, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, he worked on proposals to be presented at the 2026 Ukrainian Youth Forum.

Over the course of two days, participants presented the activities of their councils, discussed current challenges, and collaboratively developed practical solutions. The main goal was to formulate proposals that could be submitted to government agencies for further consideration.

The first MOLOHOUSE youth residence in Lviv was also presented during the workshop. This is a pilot project for affordable housing for young people, offering 53 modern, furnished studio apartments with coworking spaces and shelter. Rent will range from 5,000 to 7,000 hryvnias per month, and the first residents are scheduled to move in as early as September.

The project’s initiators emphasize that affordable housing is one of the key factors that helps young professionals stay in Ukraine. That is why the possibility of expanding this model to other cities is currently being considered.

Such meetings allow youth councils not only to exchange experiences but also to jointly develop proposals that can influence the development of national youth policy.

The workshop was organized by the Council on Youth Issues under the President of Ukraine with the support of partner organizations and international donors.
