During his working visit to Donetsk Oblast, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Stanislav Prybytko held a meeting with Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, as well as representatives of military administrations and service providers. The main topic was the resilience of mobile and fixed-line communications during potential prolonged power outages.
They discussed how to ensure network operations during blackouts, strengthen backup power supplies, and quickly restore communications in the event of emergencies.
Special attention was paid to the interaction between government bodies, military administrations, mobile operators, and internet service providers. The steady operation of the region's telecommunications infrastructure under critical conditions depends directly on coordinated cooperation.
"For front-line Donetsk Oblast, reliable communication is primarily a matter of safety. Under any conditions, people must receive operational information, have internet access, and be able to contact loved ones and emergency services.
I thank Stanislav Prybytko for his attention to the needs of Donetsk Oblast, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation along with the entire Government for their systematic support of the region," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
