The inaugural meeting of the Regional Council, chaired by Olena Marchenko, coordinator in the Donetsk region, took place on November 18, where the new composition of the Regional Council for the Order of St. Panteleimon for professionalism and mercy was elected. On December 2, the Honorable Council approved the composition of the regional council, which will conduct a competitive selection in the 2026-2026 season.
The new composition, approved by the Honorable Council, includes both experienced members of previous terms and new medical and spiritual figures from Donetsk region:
- Olena Marchenko – Deputy Director of the Health Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration
- Maya Yermolaeva – Acting Rector of Donetsk National Medical University.
- Ksenia Salikova – Administrator of the Selidovo City Council Primary Health Care Center.
- Serhiy Shutko – Chairman of the NGO "Association of Medical Workers of Donetsk Region," Director of the Central City Hospital of Vuhledar City Council.
- Oleksandr Heyko – Director of the Regional Territorial Medical Association of Kramatorsk.
- Hanna Ryabova – Director of the Toretsk City Council Primary Health Care Center.
- Oleksiy Yakovlenko – Commander of the Medical Company of Military Unit 3035, Junior Lieutenant of the Medical Service.
- Oleksandr Vlasenko – General Director of the Kramatorsk City Council Primary Health Care Center No. 1.
- Viktor Romanchuk – Lieutenant Colonel of the Medical Service, Head of the Department of Elective Surgery at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Central Region.
- Yulia Kashik – Acting Medical Director, Head of the Neurosurgery Ward at the Pokrovsk Clinical Hospital for Intensive Care, Pokrovsk City Council, Donetsk Region.
- Oksana Shaidullina – Deputy Medical Director for Temporary Disability Assessment at the Regional Clinical Traumatology Hospital.
- Svitlana Koplyanok – Director of the Slovyansk Central District Hospital.
- Hanna Fesenko – Head of the Strategic Communications Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
- Father Serhiy (Gorobtsov) – Head of the Synodal Department for Social Service and Charity of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan of Donetsk and Mariupol
- Olena Gontar – Deputy Director for Customer Service and Information Policy at the Toretsk City Council Primary Health Care Center.
Work has begun, and new regulations for the award are expected soon. The selection process for candidates for the prestigious medical award for professionalism and compassion, the Order of St. Panteleimon, will also begin.
