During the summer break, it is important to provide children in the Donetsk region with opportunities for social interaction, creative development, and meaningful leisure activities. With this goal in mind, the Donetsk Youth Palace “Yunist” is hosting the “ART-Space” interactive camp for the fifth time under the slogan “Create. Amaze. Travel.”

About 2,500 children—students and pupils from educational institutions in the Donetsk region—participated in the first session. The camp operated in a hybrid format: some activities took place online, while in-person meetings were held in Kyiv and Odesa.

The program was designed to provide emotional support to the children, develop their communication skills, and strengthen friendships among the young residents of Donetsk Oblast.

Over the course of three weeks, educators led daily physical activities, creative workshops, educational quests, role-playing games, and music classes for the participants.

The doll Albina became a constant companion for the participants, helping the children talk in a relaxed way about friendship, mutual support, and friendly communication.

The first session of the camp has come to an end. The second session of “ART-Space” will begin on August 17, and children ages 6 to 13 are invited to participate.
