As of January 1, the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased to UAH 8,647 — and with it, social payments and support from the Employment Service have also risen.
The increase in the minimum wage has affected the amount of unemployment benefits as well as pay for socially useful work under the Army of Recovery project.
What has changed for people?
Unemployment benefits:
The maximum unemployment benefit is now UAH 8,647.
The minimum benefit is:
UAH 3,900 for insured persons;
UAH 1,650 for young people under 35 without insurance record, as well as for individuals dismissed for disciplinary violations under labor legislation.
Army of Recovery project:
Pay for a full month of socially useful work is now UAH 12,970.
For frontline territories and veterans, the payment increases to UAH 17,294.
