A patriotic motorcade called “Road of Unity” has started in Donetsk Oblast, symbolizing the indomitability of the Ukrainian people and their shared belief in victory.
A column of cars flying national flags and flags of Donetsk Oblast drove through cities and towns in the region, uniting people around the idea of peace and freedom. This is the third time the motorcade has been held, and it is already becoming a new tradition that unites Donetsk residents in different parts of Ukraine. This is an event of unity and patriotism, symbolizing the strength and indestructibility of the Ukrainian nation.
The motorcade started from the Donetsk Region stele on August 24 and will pass through the cities of Poltava, Kyiv, Lviv, and Uzhhorod.
Igor Boiko, deputy head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in the event. He emphasized that today, more than ever, it is important to maintain unity and support each other.
“The Road of Unity is a symbol of our indestructibility, unity, and faith in the restoration of Donetsk Oblast in a peaceful Ukraine. Together we are strong, together we are bringing Victory Day closer,” emphasized Ihor Boiko.
The Road of Unity motorcade was created to demonstrate unity and support, to unite the residents of Donetsk region around the idea of joint struggle and mutual support. Most importantly, it is an informational message to the world, showing that Donetsk region is holding on and moving forward despite the daily challenges of war.
