Over 2,000 Homes in Donetsk Region Reconnected to Power After Shelling

Published 30 September 2025 year, 12:54

On September 29, despite the constant danger of shelling, specialists of DTEK Donetsk Power Grids continued their work. Thanks to their efforts, electricity was restored in one frontline settlement that had been cut off by enemy attacks. Power has returned to more than 2,000 homes. The company’s specialists are doing everything possible to bring electricity back to the region as soon as conditions allow and the military grants permission to carry out repairs.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists managed to restore power to one frontline settlement in Donetsk region, bringing electricity back to 2,220 households.

The company’s teams have been working continuously for 1,315 days, repairing equipment and power lines as soon as it becomes possible. Their work remains extremely dangerous: according to regional head Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements in the region 30 times over the past day.

If you are still without power, please inform us in any convenient way. Use only the company’s official communication channels: the DTEK Donetsk Power Grids website, the company’s Facebook page, or the call center at +38 (063/096/099) 450 0 473 (note: waiting times may be longer due to a high volume of calls).

The energy teams are working 24/7 to ensure every home has electricity. Only through unity and joint effort can we endure and overcome these dark times.
