The Donetsk Regional Employment Service shared the employment journey of Viktor Nesteriuk, an experienced mechanic who successfully secured long-term employment after two wartime displacements.
Initial Displacement & Community Service:
Forced to leave his home village of Soloviove in the Ocheretyne hromada, Viktor relocated to Pryvillya in the Cherkaske hromada, Donetsk Oblast.
Seeking active involvement, he joined the state "Army of Recovery" (Армія відновлення) program, performing civic restoration tasks such as clearing debris, constructing bomb shelters, and supporting community infrastructure.
Second Displacement to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast:
Due to escalating military risks, Viktor underwent a second evacuation, moving to Kamianske in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Upon arrival, he registered with the local Employment Center to find a role matching his technical background.
Successful Integration at PrJSC "Kamet-Stal":
Assisted by a career advisor (кар'єрна радниця), Viktor identified a position as an electrical machine element winder (обмотувальник елементів електричних машин) at PrJSC "Kamet-Stal" (ПРАТ «КАМЕТ-СТАЛЬ»).
Leveraging his extensive mechanical expertise, Viktor passed employer evaluation and secured permanent employment at the metallurgical enterprise.
