On September 20, 2025, Ukraine will traditionally join World Cleanup Day, the world's largest environmental initiative, which annually brings together more than 114 million participants in 211 countries. The campaign is aimed at fostering a culture of cleanliness, respect for the environment, responsible consumption and proper waste management.
Formats of participation in World Cleanup Day 2025:
- Traditional clean-ups are clean-ups in recreation areas, adjacent territories, parks, squares, and on the territories of institutions, educational institutions, and enterprises. Participation is possible individually, in a family circle or collectively, subject to safety and at locations agreed with local governments.
- Digital cleaning - deleting unnecessary information from mobile devices, email, cloud storage, cleaning desktops, folders and browsers to reduce digital footprint: https://letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup
- Sorting of secondary raw materials - participation in the all-Ukrainian project "Find. Sort. Recycle" project, as well as entering data into the National Map of Recycling Collection Points: https://recyclingpoints.org
- Ukrainians abroad - can organize cleanups online or offline, thank the host cities and support Ukraine from a distance. Registration of the results is required.
