





On August 20, an important meeting was held with 34 citizens of Donetsk Oblast who returned from captivity on August 14.
Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Shevchenko met with the citizens together with representatives of the structural units of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Among the returned citizens are civilians from different cities and towns of Donetsk region, including Donetsk, Horlivka, Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Dokuchaevsk, Shakhtarsk, Novoazovsk, Makeevka, Khartsyzsk, as well as Novoluhanskoye, Verkhnyotoretskoye, Novy Svet and Petrovskoye.
During the meeting, our returned Donetsk residents informed the representatives of the regional state administration about their problematic issues that need to be addressed immediately.
To identify specific needs, the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services conducted a survey of the liberated Donetsk residents.
The meeting resulted in the identification of responsible persons for implementing recovery measures, as well as organizing medical services and adaptation programs to help returnees return to peaceful life.
