As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a roundtable discussion was held on the topic “Methods for Working with Children Who Have Suffered Violence,” bringing together representatives from the Zvanivska and Novodmytrivska communities.
During the meeting, participants discussed modern approaches to working with children who have suffered from violence, the specifics of interagency cooperation, and the provision of psychological, social, and legal assistance, and they also exchanged experiences in this area.
Particular attention was paid to the practical experience of the Novodmytrivska community. Colleagues shared best practices regarding collaboration with specialized services and law enforcement agencies, the operation of temporary shelters for victims of domestic violence, and discussed specific cases and ways to resolve them.
The meeting took the form of an open professional dialogue, allowing participants to exchange views, ask questions, and learn from each other’s experiences. It is precisely such meetings that foster intermunicipal cooperation and help find effective solutions in the field of child rights protection.
