Eleven years ago, on August 1, the town of Krasnohorivka was liberated from Russian-backed militants. Thanks to a carefully planned operation involving the 20th Territorial Defense Battalion, the 51st and 93rd Mechanized Brigades, the Right Sector and the Donbas Battalion, the town returned to the control of the Ukrainian government.
Peaceful and full life has returned to Krasnohorivka, liberated from the Russian aggressor. Opportunities for active integration of residents into the all-Ukrainian cultural, informational, and economic space have been restored.
Unfortunately, since October 2024, Krasnohorivka has been under occupation again. The city suffered significant damage as a result of enemy shelling, which is why a significant number of residents left Krasnohorivka to escape the fighting. But the struggle for the liberation of our territory from the Russian occupiers and the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, freedom and independence continues...
