Deputy Heads of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Ihor Boiko and Oleksandr Shevchenko, took part in a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the implementation of evacuation measures and effective response to mass population displacement. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba.

During the session, representatives of regional military administrations presented reports on the security situation in their respective regions and the need for population evacuation. Participants also discussed future plans for the Coordination Headquarters' operations, as well as challenges encountered during the evacuation process and ways to resolve them.

Ihor Boiko reported that mandatory forced evacuation of children with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives continues from six settlements in the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts. During 25 stages of forced child evacuation from 305 designated settlements in the region, all children have been successfully evacuated. In 2025, a total of 1,172 people, including 235 children, were evacuated and provided with free accommodation. The evacuation destinations included the regions of Zakarpattia, Volyn, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, and Rivne, as well as the "Save Ukraine" Charitable Foundation shelter in Kyiv.

He also noted that during July of this year, 235 people — including 62 children and 35 persons with limited mobility — were accommodated free of charge in the regions of Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zakarpattia. The Deputy Head of the region emphasized that the search for premises (temporary housing) is carried out in close cooperation between the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the host regional administrations, as well as the NGO “Coordination Humanitarian Center.”
