For many residents of the Bakhmut community, Bila Tserkva has become a reliable base of support and a place where our fellow citizens have found support and understanding. Cooperation between Bakhmut and Bila Tserkva has been ongoing for several years now, and it has grown particularly strong at the level of cultural institutions.
Today, this desire to support one another has evolved into an official partnership: the Bakhmut and Bila Tserkva municipal communities have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between Territorial Communities as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
During an online meeting, the document was signed by Oleksii Reva, head of the Bakhmut City Military Administration, and Volodymyr Vovkotrub, secretary of the Bila Tserkva City Council.
The war has robbed the people of Bakhmut of their homes and their normal way of life, but it has not been able to take away what matters most—their experience, professional teams, and proven practices. The Bakhmut community is open to partnerships and ready to share knowledge, seek solutions together, and work side by side to implement joint projects that will benefit people.
