People who are not entitled to a pension, as well as persons with disabilities, may be eligible for financial support from the state. We remind you that the Pension Fund of Ukraine is responsible for administering and paying this assistance.
State social assistance is granted and paid to:
Citizens of Ukraine who permanently reside in Ukraine;
Foreign nationals and stateless persons who have relocated to Ukraine for permanent residence, as well as individuals recognized as refugees or persons in need of additional protection;
Citizens of the Republic of Poland staying in Ukraine under the conditions established by the Law of Ukraine "On Establishing Additional Legal and Social Guarantees for Citizens of the Republic of Poland Staying in Ukraine."
The main eligibility requirement is that the average monthly total household income for the six calendar months preceding the month before the application is submitted must not exceed the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their capacity to work.
However, this income requirement does not apply to persons with Group I disabilities or to children of a deceased breadwinner.
