On September 1, the Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education officially kicked off the new 2026–2027 academic year.

For the institution, this day marked a special occasion—the beginning of a new phase of learning, professional growth, and development for its large educational family.

It was especially significant for the freshmen, who crossed the institution’s threshold for the first time and became part of the Bakhmut educational family. Ahead of them lie new knowledge, professional skills, new friendships, first achievements, and the path to their dream profession.

A ceremonial event marking Knowledge Day was attended by distinguished guests: Igor Gaevoy, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Donetsk Regional State Administration; Mykola Panchuk, Chairman of the Hoshcha Town Council; and Oksana Mazur, Head of the Education Department of the Hoshcha Town Council.

The Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education continues to train skilled workers in the following professions: bricklayer, electrician specializing in the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, information processing and software operator, cook, pastry chef, seamstress, automotive mechanic, and other in-demand professions.

Today’s students are the future of Ukraine—its future professionals, masters, and specialists. It is their knowledge, hard work, professional skills, and sense of responsibility that will become a vital component of the country’s reconstruction and development.

Education in Donetsk Oblast is unbreakable.
