As part of the "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" project, libraries from the Uzhhorod and Kostiantynivka teams met online to share their experiences.
During the discussion, they talked about a modern tool for libraries - the Koha system. Uzhhorod colleagues demonstrated its operation: from an electronic catalog and convenient book search to booking and viewing reader history.
For librarians, this means simplified accounting, cataloging, and effective collection management. For readers, it means quick and convenient access to the books they need from any device.
The team of the Kostiantynivka library noted that Koha really optimizes the work of librarians, and readers get comfort and a modern approach to using library resources.
Once again, we are convinced that Ukrainian libraries are living cultural spaces that are actively developing and supporting their communities, combining traditions and modern technologies.
