On December 16, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center Natalia Adamova met in Kramatorsk with Artem Andriienko, Head of Ankom LTD. The company specializes in the craft production of confectionery and is successfully developing with the support of the state grant program “Vlasna Sprava” (Own Business). Despite the challenges of war, the entrepreneur continues to invest in business growth and create new jobs.

Ankom LTD produces sweet gift products that have already found admirers across Ukraine. One of its flagship products is chocolate-covered raisins—a combination of naturally juicy raisins and a delicate chocolate coating. It is a nutritious and tasty snack popular with both children and adults.

Thanks to grant support under the “Vlasna Sprava” program, the company was able to scale up production. Grant funds were used to purchase a panning (dragee) machine and essential raw materials—raisins. This made it possible to increase production volumes and create jobs.

Ms. Adamova familiarized herself with the production process and informed the entrepreneur about other financial support programs offered by the employment service to employers.

For Donetsk Oblast, such examples of entrepreneurial initiative are of particular importance. They strengthen faith in the future, demonstrate opportunities for development even in a frontline region, and confirm that the state remains a reliable partner for those who are ready to work, invest, and take responsibility for their business and community.
