A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko. Members of the working group and invited participants took part in the meeting.
During the session, participants reviewed the status of public procurement carried out by the Chasiv Yar Urban Territorial Community in 2026.
According to information provided by the Department of Economy of the Regional State Administration, between May 20 and May 28, 2026, procuring entities from 8 territorial communities in the region planned 20 procurements of goods and services totaling UAH 27.0 million.
Out of the 20 procurements, 7 contracts were concluded for the purchase of diesel fuel, coal, electricity, trellis mesh, and steel wire, as well as for services related to the installation and connection of a backup diesel power station for a dormitory in Chernivtsi and the current repair of Dormitory No. 1 at the Central Ukrainian National Technical University to accommodate internally displaced (evacuated) persons in Kropyvnytskyi.
Relevant information materials on this issue were distributed to members of the working group for review.
To inform participants on the agenda item, the floor was given to Head of the Chasiv Yar Urban Territorial Community Serhii Chaus, who reported on the main areas of budget spending, the status of completed and planned procurements, and the community’s priorities under martial law.
The community head noted that most of the funds had been allocated to the procurement of defense-related materials and social needs.
Following the discussion, participants emphasized the importance of continuing to uphold the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in public procurement. The working group will continue monitoring procurement activities conducted and planned by territorial communities across the region.
