In honor of Ukrainian Statehood Day, the "Yunist" Youth Palace is launching a remote online contest titled "The Beauty and Grandeur of National Symbols." This event aims to highlight the issue of Ukrainian national identity in the modern world and demonstrate the unbreakable spirit of the creative youth of Donetsk Oblast.
We invite educators and students to join us in exploring the profound meaning of Ukraine’s state symbols through the lens of art.
The contest will be held remotely from June 8 to July 15, 2026.
Age categories for participants:
Category I: 7–12 years old;
Category II: 13–18 years old;
Category III: “Teachers.”
Nominations:
- Drawings and collages: narrative compositions created using any graphic or painting technique. A description indicating the title and technique must be included with the entry.
- Themed crafts: handmade items made from natural or artificial materials that must feature state symbols.
To participate in the event, educational institutions must submit a general application for all participants and photographs of the entries to the Palace’s email address: [email protected] by June 18, 2026. Be sure to include the name of the contest in the subject line: “The Beauty and Grandeur of State Symbols.”
