During a working visit to the Czech Republic, a delegation from the Donetsk region, together with representatives of the Onokivska rural community of the Zakarpattia region and People's Deputy of Ukraine Mykhailo Laba, informed the residents of the Hradec Králové Region about the real situation currently occurring in Ukraine: war, shelling of peaceful residents, destruction of entire settlements.
The delegation representatives showed their colleagues from the Czech Republic a film about the present-day Donetsk region, about the struggle, successes, and losses. Throughout July, this film will be shown in all 25 municipalities of the region.
They presented the representatives of MAS Království – Jestřebí hory, an organization engaged in regional development of the region, with the book "DONETSK: the eastern outpost of Ukraine".
During the visit, it became clear that not only employees of municipalities or other state institutions in the Czech Republic but also ordinary citizens perfectly understand and share the pain and suffering that every Ukrainian feels today.
Despite the fact that the war has lasted so long, the level of support from the population remains high. Ordinary Europeans clearly understand the threat posed by the Russian Federation and its aggressive policies.
