Nearly 100 entrepreneurs from the region joined the online meeting “State Support for People and Businesses,” organized by the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.
The purpose of the event was to familiarize employers with government support programs aimed at retaining teams, restoring business operations, and strengthening resilience in the face of current challenges. Special attention was given to tools for staff professional development and training new personnel in line with employers’ needs.
During the meeting, participants were introduced to the state support program for war-affected businesses, “Support Point”, including its key opportunities and mechanisms for use. They also learned about training programs organized by the employment service, designed to help employees acquire new professions, upgrade their qualifications, or gain relevant skills for immediate employment.
“Timely information and open dialogue with businesses help strengthen cooperation with the employment service and enable effective use of government tools for business development and job preservation,” noted Nataliia Adamova, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.
Employment service specialists provided detailed explanations of current state support mechanisms and answered employers’ questions.
