14 children from the Mangush village community, aged 10 to 15, went on a summer vacation to Romania.

The group includes children from families of Ukrainian soldiers who are defending Ukraine's sovereignty, children from families of fallen heroes, children of soldiers who were captured by Russia, children from large families and other privileged categories. The Romanian side has identified this category of children for recreation.

In the spring of this year, the leadership of the Mangush community discussed the issue of children's rehabilitation with the Romanian consul. Organizational issues of the trip were previously worked out at the level of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The young Donetsk residents will be accompanied by teachers of the Mangush secondary school, whom the children know well and with whom they will feel easy and at ease.

Together with the young residents of the Mangush community, a group of children from the Solotvyno village community of Tyachiv district, Zakarpattia region, also traveled to Romania.

The young citizens of Ukraine were welcomed in the Romanian city of Baia Mare, where they will spend their vacation until August 6. The program of their stay in the hospitable Romanian land includes communication with peers, master classes, horseback riding, visiting Romanian cities with excursions to museums and other places of interest. The adults did not forget to take care of recreational procedures for the kids in the swimming pool and on the training grounds.

According to Natalia Vorobyova, head of the Mangush settlement military administration, this is not the first trip abroad for the children of the Mangush community. In the future, we plan to organize another group of young residents of Mangush from privileged categories for rehabilitation abroad.

We would like to thank the Embassy of Romania in Ukraine and Ukrainian MP Mykhailo Laba for making this trip possible. We are also grateful to Ukrzaliznytsia, which provided free transportation for the group members.

Let's keep working. Together we will win!
