

Stanislav Oliferchyk from Mariupol represented Ukraine at the World Diving Championships in Singapore from July 26 to August 3 with athletes from 51 countries.
A graduate of the School of Higher Sportsmanship of the region, a scholarship holder of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, he competed in the synchronized 3-meter springboard event together with Kirill Bolyukh from Kyiv.
First, the Ukrainians took 7th place among 26 pairs of qualifiers with a score of 374.91 points. And then in the final among the top eight, Stanislav and Kirill scored a record-breaking 387.99 points, which allowed them to take a high fourth place. Our athletes were second only to diving teams from the UK, Mexico and China.
It is worth noting that the performance in Singapore was Stanislav Oliferchyk's best at the World Championships, and he previously won the title of winner and medalist at European championships.
Stanislav's mentor is Anatoliy Holovan, Honored Coach of Ukraine, coach and teacher of the Donetsk Region School of Sports and Physical Education.
