A workshop on making sunflowers—a symbol of gratitude and respect for Ukraine’s fallen defenders—was held at the Koshmanivsky Village Cultural Center in the Poltava region.
The event brought together people of all ages—children, youth, and adults—from the Khlibodarivska and Mashivska communities. At the start of the event, those present observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of the fallen heroes and heroines. Participants then made sunflowers by hand—small tokens of great gratitude—chatted, supported one another, and remembered those who gave their lives for Ukraine. After all, memory lives on as long as we cherish it.
The event was held as part of the regional campaign “Sunflowers of Remembrance” and the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” in collaboration with the Khlibodarivka and Mashiv communities.
