In honor of Senior Citizens’ Day, a heartwarming gathering took place at the Toretsk Territorial Center for Social Services as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
Representatives from the Social Services Center of the Ruzhyn Village Council visited the residents to offer them attention, care, and a cheerful mood.
Haircare services were organized for older adults and people with disabilities. What might seem like a routine procedure at first glance turned into a pleasant opportunity to socialize, feel cared for, and treat oneself to a little joy.
Such visits are not just about providing assistance. They are about humanity, support, and the simple desire to be there for one another. It is especially important for older adults to feel cared for, respected, and loved, because it is precisely these daily acts of kindness that make up true support.
