On the occasion of Ukraine's Unity Day, the Donetsk Regional Library for Children is initiating a regional challenge called ‘Strength in Unity’. The event aims to demonstrate the resilience of the Ukrainian people, emphasise the importance of national unity and unite the residents of Donetsk Oblast, wherever they may be.
We invite residents of the region, active young people and anyone else who wishes to join in to create a virtual chain of unity.
To participate in the campaign, please send photos related to the theme of unity and solidarity (photos of friends, a group of people under the national flag, symbolic ‘chains of unity,’ etc.) to [email protected] between 12 and 17 January.
Before sending the email, please check that all files are attached and that the participant's information is complete.
If the email contains entries from two or more participants, each photo must be captioned separately. A Word document with a complete list of all contestants must be attached to the email to avoid technical errors.
The submitted materials will be published on the official Facebook page of the Donetsk Regional Library for Children from 21 to 24 January inclusive. All participants in the challenge will receive electronic certificates.
Ukrainians are a strong and united nation that cannot be divided by borders or distances. Despite the challenges of the times, we remain united in our aspirations and love for our homeland. Let's create a virtual chain of unity together!
