The head of Donetsk Oblast spoke with staff working at the centers on the ground, as well as with volunteers from the Coordinating Humanitarian Center. He inspected how the reception of evacuees is organized, what assistance people receive, and the living conditions provided.

The work of transit centers has saved tens of thousands of lives. To date, they have received more than 56,000 residents of Donetsk Oblast and helped resettle 5,328 people who needed such support.

“The most valuable part was speaking with our people who were forced to leave their homes. We discussed the challenges they face during evacuation.

We also talked about our Donetsk Oblast: people need to know that together — the authorities, the military, law enforcement, and volunteers — are doing everything possible to defend our region and support its residents.

Our main task is to save people’s lives as quickly as possible.

The state and volunteers are doing everything they can to ensure that evacuation is organized, safe, and provides maximum support to everyone who needs it.

Thank you to everyone who cares for our people!” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
