The Ukrainian language is our treasure, our strength and an inexhaustible source of discovery. But we must not only love it, but also cherish it, practise it and constantly improve it.
To mark Ukrainian Literacy and Language Day, the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library invites you to take part in the regional quiz ‘Let’s Cherish Our Language!’.
On 27 October, a link to the online quiz will appear on the library’s page https://www.facebook.com/oblbib.dn.ukr.net. Over the course of two days (27 and 28 October), anyone interested will be able to take the quiz, test their knowledge and find out how well they understand the nuances of their native language.
Taking part is very simple: just follow the link, which will be posted beneath the announcement for the online event, and answer the questions. All correct answers are recorded automatically; there is no need to send any screenshots or emails.
And on 30 October, we’ll find out the names of the winners – that is, the participants who answer all the questions correctly. They’ll all receive certificates recognising them as experts in their native language.
May this quiz be yet another opportunity to experience the beauty of the Ukrainian language.
