Specialists from the Donetsk Regional Center for Technical Creativity of Children and Youth organized a regional online exhibition of children’s artwork titled “Spring Easter Fair” with the aim of preserving and promoting Ukrainian traditions, fostering spiritual values, and instilling respect for folk culture.

The event brought together about 850 students and teachers in a warm atmosphere of creativity, kindness, and festive cheer.

The exhibition featured a variety of works created by children using different techniques: drawings, appliqué, decorative and functional crafts, pysanky, Easter baskets, and festive arrangements. Each piece stood out for its originality, vibrant colors, and the sincerity of the children’s imagination.

The participants demonstrated a deep understanding of folk traditions and symbolism. While preparing for the exhibition, teachers held discussions with the children about Easter celebration traditions, introduced them to Ukrainian folk customs, and explained the symbolism of pysanka painting. This helped deepen the children’s knowledge of the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people.

The “Spring Easter Fair” provided an opportunity to showcase the children’s creative achievements, fostered the development of aesthetic taste, sparked an interest in Ukrainian traditions, and created a festive atmosphere.
