Donetsk Region is taking part in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026), which opened today in Gdańsk, Poland.
This was announced by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
This year, the region is represented by the Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Selydove, Pokrovsk, and Mariupol communities.
The conference has brought together international partners, representatives of Ukrainian regions, and experts to discuss strategies for Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.
URC 2026 focuses on five key pillars: economic recovery, human capital, regional policy development, European integration, and security.
These priorities are of critical importance for Donetsk Region, as they define the path toward resilience and development amid ongoing security threats and the destruction of infrastructure.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference serves as an important platform for presenting projects aimed at rebuilding and developing the region’s communities, while also attracting international support for their implementation.
