This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration.
The decision was adopted by the Government today.
The funds will be used for priority measures: protection of energy facilities, development of distributed generation, backup power sources for heating and water supply systems, as well as decentralization of heating systems in large cities.
For the region, this is critically important. The enemy continues to systematically target energy and коммунal infrastructure, so preparations must be made in advance to strengthen the resilience of every facility.
Overall, the Government has already allocated UAH 12.85 billion for the first phase of implementing resilience plans. A significant portion of these funds is directed to frontline regions, where the burden on infrastructure is the highest.
“We are working with communities to implement all planned measures as quickly as possible and ensure that people have heat, water, and electricity next winter.
I thank the President, the Prime Minister, and the Government team for their attention to the needs of the regions,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
