The multifunctional space of the Shakhiv Village Council operates in a relocated setting in the village of Kropyvna, Zolotonosha Community, in the Cherkasy region.
The modern cultural and educational hub based in this space has become a place for community members to gather, grow, and receive emotional support.
A special role in the space’s activities is played by the librarian, who not only promotes books but is also a true master of decorative and applied arts.
Among her favorite disciplines is origami—the art of paper folding—which she successfully teaches to workshop participants, where visitors create unique crafts, develop fine motor skills, creative thinking, and aesthetic taste.
An important component of the space’s work is art therapy. Creative activities, particularly origami and other types of handicrafts, help reduce stress levels, provide emotional relief, and restore inner balance. In today’s world, where mental health is a particularly pressing issue, such initiatives play an extremely important role.
By combining cultural activities, creativity, and care for the psychological well-being of residents, the Shakhiv Community Multifunctional Space becomes not just a place for leisure, but a true center for community support and development.
